For worldwide use at trade fairs, a functional model of the Arabelle turbine plant was made for Alstom Power. Based on sketches, drafts, and photos a reconstruction of the entire plant was created first and then a model from plastic, metal, and rapid prototyping components was manufactured, using different modelling methods. A piece of furniture with integrated display cases houses the entire plant and facilitates easy handling at the trade fair.
